Sometimes, I realize that as a founder: I need to be supportive and patient with new people who join the company.
It’s easy to get frustrated by how long it can take to onboard new people and forget that they haven’t necessarily spent 10 years working on what I am doing in Startup, Fundraising World.
I’m no smarter than other members of our startup. I’ve just spent a lot of time here and on our product. Other new members have spent time doing other work before. That’s the reason why they’re extremely valuable for our company.
So, I should spend time with them, to share what I know about the company (culture, product, experience), and I can learn from their experience outside society.
